The Toyota Land Cruiser Prado is now a popular SUV sold in Australia and Latin America and Asia. The car is also popular in many other parts of the developing world, such as the Caribbean and much of Africa. This model is not sold in the United States as a Toyota, but as Lexus GX.

This line was disposed closer to the road purpose, instead of previous deals relied heavily on the ability of road vehicles. This vehicle has a coil over shock suspension to improve handling and came in either four-door or two-door versions.

In May 1993, the Prado went through a renovation and was renowned as the 90 series. The Prado is stretched keeping the design of a vehicle on average. Toyota then moves to the front suspension with a separate installation similar to their Tacoma and Hilux Surf. In June 1999, more changes were made, fog lights were added to the front bumper, new engines were available and an engine immobilizer was used as a theft deterrent.

The third generation Prado was introduced in 2002, this variation includes a re-designed front suspension that previous concerns about the reliability of the earlier versions. Because these vehicles were now seeing more luxury than in road transport became more desirable to thieves. For this reason, Toyota made all vehicles with an immobilizer as standard fare Prado. While the Prado is a definitive model of its own accord is regarded by many as a perfect combination of finesse to the way of the road and robustness for off-road excursions. This makes the Prado Museum, one of the most sought after vehicles on the market for people looking to save that line and enjoy everything the way you want to shoot them.
