Volkswagen Vento and its Story in 2012

The automobile has five three point seat belts, antilock brake system along with electronic brake force distribution feature. The cost price of the vehicle falls between Rs 7 to Rs 9 lakhs. You can also choose from the variants like Vento, Vento AT, Vento Diesel and Vento Diesel AT. The car also comes in numerous shades of flash red, glacier blue, candy white, glacier blue, deep black and silver.

Compared to the market leader, the Honda City comes in three variants, out of which Honda City 1.5 E MT and 1.5 S MT are equipped with 1.5L, 1497cc, i-VTEC petrol engine producing 118PS power @ 6600rpm and 14.9Kg-m torque @ 4600rpm. The Honda City 1.5 S AT has an automatic transmission gearbox. The powerful i-VTEC engine delivers better efficiency and good fuel economy. The safety specifications are almost at par with features like superior chassis design, torsionally rigid body shell and other specifications include front as well as side airbags. The vehicle has five three point seat belts, antilock brake system along with electronic brake force distribution feature.

The Volkswagen Vento diesel delivers a mileage of 20 km/litre whereas the petrol version has a mileage of 16 km/litre. There is a price difference of Rs. 1 Lac between petrol and diesel variants. Even for the consumers with a lesser monthly usage, VW Vento diesel version would be good choice, if the price is not a constraint. Usage over a period of three years will counter balance the initial high price of VW Volkswagen Vento diesel.
