Architect- The Artist of the Construction

Architecture is related to preparation of building, designing, planning & construction of physical structures. It is one kind of art, The greatest example of architecture in India is Taj Mahal. An architect is the person concerning to the construction or designing the buildings. An architect designs not only the building, but also the surrounding locations. Constructing a physical framework may affect the public safety, so architect must have specialized training consisting of advance education & internship to get a license. To become an architect, it is necessary to have academic qualification, technical knowledge, & practical experience, & this may also vary by jurisdiction.

The word architect can use in the following disciplines:

Naval architecture: This deals with construction, design, maintenance & operation, marine ships, vessels, deckyards. It basically involves basic research, development & evaluation of design, calculation of the all stages of life of a marine vehicle. It includes formulation of safety requirements, rules for damage control, certification for the ship etc.

Landscape architecture: Landscape architect associated with the design the outdoor public area, landmarks, natural places, dealing with the structures that can give environmental, aesthetic & social- behavioral results.

Software architecture: It’s a high level of architecture, involving designing of softwares. For this a set of particular structures is needed to develop the software. They have to make fundamental structures carefully because once they implemented, it is costly to change the operating system.

An architect may work on a single building or a large scheme that does not matter, but he has to design the surrounding lands & space, this is the additional work to perform. They have to work according to their clients needs & requirements. They should make sure the project work matches the users need, should be safe & economical. An architect is the head of any project, who control it from beginning to end, & a number of construction professional worked under him, like engineers, persons involving in drawing, specifications etc.

The work of an architect varies from small scale project work to large scale work like project work of landscape under a multinational company. Architects are present from before the ages, they communicate with clients about the needs of building, preparing budgets for the project, the local effect on the environment.They can assist the client to select the sites, providing the specific standards for building sustainability, functional & aesthetic aspects. They also need to aware of financial & commercial aspects. Their functions may vary, but basically the following work responsibilities are-

They discuss the objective, importance, budge of the project with the respective clients.

They consult the design with the other professional.

Preparing the design, feasibility reports & presenting the reports to clients..

They aware the clients time to time on the practicality of their projects.

In their activity, using IT design, Or specially using computer aided softwares is required.
