Choosing the perfect wedding saree is a tough task and women do get it right in the end but only after spending sleepless nights over the thought of not finding the perfect wedding saree,Biggest Mistake Women Make When Buying a Wedding Saree Articles then subsequently finding one they like but feeling unsettled on their choice, then to finally buying the perfect saree that they love to death but still have their doubts on whether they should have looked further and more.

Only a bride and of course her mother, sister and best friend would know that it is quite a task to pick a wedding trousseau for the bride. While there are many people who will advice you on how to pick the perfect wedding saree and also give you tips on what to look for in wedding sarees, nobody ever tells you that what mistakes you should strictly avoid when you are out buying your wedding wear. Well, here are my pointers on the biggest women make when buying a wedding saree and how you can avoid making the same.

Whenever you go out to shop, there is always a budget. I know parents give you the liberty to buy insanely expensive wedding dress but let’s face it; you are not going to wear it again. The best you can possibly do is wearing it at your best friend’s sangeet/engagement or ask your trusted tailor/designer to turn it into an anarkali or suit. Never go overboard with your budget and always look for wedding wear in your budget. We all have entered into fancy stores of luxury brands or designer stores, with no intent of buying but with the sole intent of looking into the designs. However, once you have seen the works of the best designers of the country, everything else you will see will fall short of your expectation.

This is not a conscious decision but somehow, we end up comparing every outfit we see with the one we saw in the designer wear store which should not be the case because every bride is perfect, every bride is beautiful and no I am not just following the cliché and saying it but I truly mean it. No bride should feel any less confident or any less beautiful than crowned beauties on their wedding day. So, always keep a check on the budget and look for outfits that you can buy; instead of looking at outfits you are not going to buy and heighten your expectations.

Also, along with the design and styling, look for comfort wear as well. I would seriously not want to wear something that would just keep me strangled and suffocated on my wedding day, which should ideally be the happiest day of my life. I would rather wear something that is comfortable. Even when I am buying a party wear saree, I make it a point to not buy impractical clothes that will serve me no good.
