Building Your Business with your Values and Priorities

The easiest way to build your business and make more income is to create success that is in line with your values and priorities. When you do this everything gets easier and each action you take energizes all the other actions connected to it. When you don’t you either fail or end up miserable.

To run a successful business it is necessary to pour yourself into the endeavor.  Success in business is very reflective of success in life.  People do well in life by laying out their values and priorities and making decisions based upon these.  It keeps things as simple as possible while keeping people true to themselves and happy.  Running a business based on personal values and priorities will make your business decisions easier, give you less heartache, and MUCH MORE success.

If you attempt to create a business that is out of sync with your personal or business values and priorities, it is difficult work.  Putting that business in line with personal values and priorities will make it easier to get clients and build your business, resulting in more income.

When you build a business that is in line with your values and priorities, clients, opportunities, and income follow.  There are many examples of businesses that are built on clear values on priorities. Take a look at Whole Foods or Apple Computer.  Both companies have created raving fans who refer, shout their praises.

Spend some time to outline your values.  What is important to you? Are you someone who values creativity and honesty?  Do you value integrity and family?  How about your business values?

Once you identify your values, you must prioritize them. A list of the same 3 values prioritized in two orders will result in wildly different results.  A business that puts family above income will be very different than one who puts income over family.  Now that we can see the difference, we need to look at the importance of priorities in terms of happiness.  From the above example, a person really values income can’t schedule vacations every other month.  WellScience Articles, at least not in till their business has really grown.

Success and happiness can work in tandem with each other.  It is just necessary to sketch out the roadmap filled with your values and priorities.

Many of my clients print out their priorities and values and keep them posted in a visible area.  It keeps them on track within their business.

Values ÷ Priorities = Business success and happiness with greater ease.
