Don't forget about safety issues. If you want to get some promotional products aimed at children be careful. In this day and age toys are made for all ages. Just think about it. If it says toy, that doesn't equate to something for a child. A big squishy stress ball looks like tons of fun for the baby, right? Well my little dumpling would chew through everything. There wasn't a baby doll in the house that actually kept it's nose. She would have gone right through it.

There are issues regarding toys that have to be addressed. For instance anything that is marketed as kids pajamas has to be made from inflammable material. Only pajamas though. I guess they figure if a kids not sleeping he can put himself out. Seriously, if you don't know all the details and laws there could be trouble.

When purchasing promotional items from a reputable promotional products company, you should always check with them to make sure that the item you are purchasing is designed to be a child's toy and is designed with child safety in mind.

Just because a promotional item seems that it would be safe, doesn't necessarily mean that it is.  Even something as simple as a ball may not be designed for little children.  Obviously, safety needs to be your number one priority.  If you are not sure about the safety of an item you have chosen for a child's promotional item then consult the promotional products company and ask them for recommendations on kid safe promotional items.

The real issue here is that you are trying to get good karma for your company basically. You want to do positive things that bring more positive into your life and business. Like more revenue for instance. Litigation is not a good thing. That is what will happen if somebody's baby gets injured because you did not give out the right product.
