Check the checklist for corporate events and select destinations

Deciding for a corporate event means you have to be familiar with the venue to know the management and sales team. It is very important to review a site fully in person prior to signing agreements. It also means you should carry a checklist and ensure site inspection each time you consider selecting a venue for the event planning. This reduces the possibilities of overlooking any detail.

Checklist for the amenities

  • Concierge or information desks availability.
  • Restrictions to display the event information

Selecting a corporate event venue cannot be finalized before knowing the details of the facilities that are available. You may ask for details with the sales manage and consider checking with your checklist for the following:

  • Parking and grounds condition
  • Appropriately sized skirting and draperies in the meeting room
  • Capacity of the room to hold event.
  • No visual obstructions
  • Flexibility in the room to adjust tables or layout
  • Ability to manoeuvre natural light
  • Indoor lighting should feature adjustability to dim sections.
  • Nearby medical and restroom access
  • Event room should be much away from the kitchen area
  • Limited noise distractions behind the walls.

 

This is followed with all other checklists and to inquire about the details beginning with:

  • Audio/visual equipment featuring high speed internet wired or wireless
  • Appropriate screen size, LCD projectors, remotes hand-held, microphones
  • TV screens, flat screens for video
  • White boards, easels and supplies
  • Outlets throughout the room

 

 

Explore catering options so that right food and beverage is offered. Make sure there are a range of choices and confirm to convince with the corporate events check list:

 

  • On-site full service kitchen operation
  • Meet the executive chef, in case you are permitted to do so
  • Detailed menu and the options of serving.
