Corporate growth can come from Humming birds and Honey bees as wellCorporate and its employees must learn two important learnings from honey bees and Humming birds as why these animals never prefer honey when provided to them..... Have you ever asked or observed the fact of why the honeybees or humming birds seldom come to honey or nectar if place them on a bowl? They search nectar from flower to flower and gather drops by drops. Why they refuse to take them so happily if we provide them in bulk at their door step? Is it not stupid on the part of honey bees or humming birds not to use the opportunity and continue to toil for nectar? Just for argument sake if can we accept the fact that neither the honey bee nor the humming bird may be aware of the presence of the nectar served to them in a bowl. But it is difficult believe the above logic as how smartly honey bees and humming birds discover the presence of the nectar in various flowers so precisely. They also know to avoid the flowers already they had visited. The two possible lessons every corporate must learn from honey bees and humming birds are 1. Be like a honey bee or humming bird 2. Be not like a honey bee or humming bird One may find it very funny, how the above two conflicting or contradicting learning are possible and ca co-exist. How is it possible to ‘be like’ and not to ‘be like’? The contradiction or paradox is not there in the truth but it is there only in our creation. The corporate and its employees should tires to be like a honey bee or humming bird in their search for success or result. Both the bees and humming birds were associating nectar with flower. They were following a pattern or a process in their search and approach. When result or success was made available to them, they did not heed to the result or success without following the pattern or process. Corporate needs to understand the fact that when they gallop for business success or business result, the due process of ethics they should not miss to follow. By forgoing the due ethics, the result or success should not be pursued or achieved. Another big lesson the corporate has to learn is that both honey bee and humming bird when gather nectar from flower, they were rewarding the plants by doing the job of pollination. Never receive anything without rewarding the giver in due manner. The second point of ‘do not be like a honey bee or humming bird’ also got a great relevance for corporate. Perhaps both the creatures may loves to remain as bee and humming bird. Hence they did not avail the opportunity offered to them. Unlike them the corporate and its employees grow their aspirations irrespective of whether they are growing or not. Hence understanding and utilizing the opportunity is must. While utilizing the opportunity How big lesson the corporate has to learn from so small a bee or from the smallest humming bird.
