Corporate must learn from Weaver bird and Tailor bird

Every job, every project and every activity need pre-assessment to understand and establish its need, viability and its other advantages.  The pre-assessment process itself is a very big exercise in many organizations.  Depending upon the stake and affront cost involved in the project, the assessment norms may vary.

The project success is largely & exclusively depending upon how well and how accurate the assessment procedures are.  The projects of long term interest will have to undergo very rigorous pre-project assessment norms.

The construction of dams, bridges, thermal plants etc., are some of the examples pass through very strict and mandatory pre-project assessment approval.  Only after studying all the complete and long term pros and cons alone, the project will be initiated.   If such pre-assessments are not done, the likely disasters due to the failure of such projects are immeasurable and incalculable.    

Do animals follow any pre-assessment norms in their life?  Do they follow any scientific methods to validate their project endeavor to be whether such projects are viable or non viable? 

The above doubt may appear very strange.  But in truth, many animals do very scientific pre-project assessment procedures to ensure the project success.  

Hanging nest building birds such as weaver birds and tailor birds for example follow very meticulous method of pre-assessment of the nesting site.  Breeding is one of the biggest biological events in the life of many animals.  The nesting site only determines the breeding success.  The birds check the site or the branches of the tree to establish its strength and durability.  When they build the nest and lay eggs, until the young ones are ready to fly, the nest should offer complete protection. 

Usually, the birds sit, hang and rock the branches on which they propose to build the nest. 
All the studies have shown that the nest site related problems have never jeopardized the interest of the birds.  The study have shown that not even a single occasion, the branches of the trees where the nests have been built have ever broken or cut either due to the weight of the nest or due to wind or rain in natural terms. 

Birds invest their life in procreation.  They cannot afford to loose the opportunity.  They never do their job in great hurry like man especially without assessment or following the rule. 

What message corporate employees have to derive from the above? Every stage do pre-assess before doing the job.  Follow the scientific norms and apply your commonsense before executing the job.  After all, your investment of effort needs absolute success.   Remember the small animals like weaver bird and tailor bird follow the rule of pre-assessing the nesting site and only after the site approval is obtained, they build the nest.  Some research findings have shown that in the midst of nest building, some birds even abandoned the effort obviously due to some problems in the site. 

Corporate and its employees must be aware of the above.
