  • Baking soda
  • Warm water
  • Hard Plastic brush

  • First, you need to prepare a solution of white vinegar with warm water, both taken in equal parts. Pour this solution into an empty spray bottle.

  • Using the spray bottle, spray this vinegar solution extensively over the mould stain. Let the solution saturate the mould stain completely and let it rest on it for some time.

  • Now take some baking soda powder and make a thick paste of it with water. Make sure there are no lumps or fluidity in the paste.

  • Apply this baking soda paste over the mould stain where you sprayed vinegar. Cover the mould patch with the paste completely and let it dry for an hour.

  • Baking soda and white vinegar are anti-fungal. These two substances can also help in delivering carpet sanitisation and carpet deodorisation.

  • When the soda pasting is dry, take a brush and use it to clean the mould patch. Rub and scrub off the mould layer and soda pasting from the carpet. Keep brushing till the black layer of mould is completely removed. Repeat the process if the mould persists.
