COVID had a huge negative impact on retail and restaurant businesses. Fortunately for Internet-based businesses, they can still make money while being in the comfort of their own home.
I read an article about McDonald’s and how they’ve been navigating through COVID.
Because of the spike in new cases, McDonald’s has to delay reopening their restaurants for another three weeks. How well are they going to be off?
My guess is, they’re going to do relatively fine.
Why?
They have the ability to be flexible and adaptive, specifically with their drive-thru and delivery service. With those two, they can still serve their customers without putting anyone’s health in danger (except maybe their workers).
Unlike smaller restaurants that can’t provide either of those services, they have no choice but to stay closed and lose money everyday.
Fortunately for you and I, we have email. We’re able to send out emails and still be able to make sales and earn a living even if the world is in the middle of a pandemic crisis.
Heck, even if the world somehow ends up being at war with extraterrestrial beings, you can still do it as long as you have three things:
(1) A device
(2) An Internet connection
