The government's flagship green initiative is to drive demand for a range of pumping solutions, it has been claimed.

A spokesman for Husky Heat Pumps said demand for technologies such as heat pumps would go "ballistic" when the Green Deal is introduced.
The Green Deal is designed to incentivise business and home owners to employ more green technologies in their properties.
Under the scheme,Environmentally friendly deal to drive more demand for heat pumps Articles consumers install new green technology into their property with no up-front costs, paying back the costs through energy bills over a period of time.
The initiative includes insulation improvements such as: loft insulation, solid wall insulation, cavity wall insulation, draught insulation and double glazing windows.
Micro generation is also a big part of the Green Deal and includes funding for Solar panels, wind turbines and heat pumps such as ground source heat pumps and air source heat pumps.
OEM pumps and tube pumps are also used for energy consumption.
The Husky Heat Pumps spokesman said demand for heat pumps would shoot up when the Green Deal rolls out, in October this year.
"When they introduce it I think it is going to go ballistic and I don't think any of us are actually ready for it."
"It is just going to go mad," he said. "We are not quite sure how we are going to keep up with demand."
The spokesman added that there could be a massive spike for products that lasts for a few months, or it could "run away with us" and "we'll have to put more and more resources into it just to try and keep up".
People will be actually putting money their money into this technology, it was reported, because they can see the long-term benefits.
Earlier this month, the Department of Energy and Weather Change revealed the first meeting of a new group tasked with looking at how to deliver business models that enable small to medium-sized and mini businesses get involved with delivering the energy efficiency measures available under the Green Deal.
