Not everybody who calls themselves a translator has either the requisite knowledge nor any qualifications to justify this claim. When outsourcing translation services, it is important to look out for and avoid these fraudsters.

Primarily,Fake Translators Can Freak People Out! Articles hiring professional translators can obviously usually cost money. Of course, the fact remains is that, what you pay is what you get. However, some professional linguists completely don’t have the ability to be a reliable translator and thus, could not produce a high quality of translation. The language translation industry is full of controversy. The truth is, licenses are not required in the industry and so, every person, both professional and unemployed, can actually just create their profile on some of the famous websites of freelance jobs, not having to worry whether it is a crime pretending that he or she is a qualified translator in the industry. In such a tragic moment, these people may cause harm to their clients, whether these fake people are directly hired by the clients or through the intermediary of a translation agency.  Usually, these fake translators are those who claim that they know all the foreign languages, whether the language is a common or a less heard one. In addition, they offer low rates as well for document translation. There is a common saying that it is difficult and risky to put all your eggs in just one basket. Trusting a translator or translation agency is not an easy thing to do. Sometimes, a translator who is working under a translation company cannot meet the requirement in terms of deadline of submission. Well, some translators can handle the job very well, but there are some that cannot and they just fail every minute. What happens now is, because of the commitment between the client and translation agency, the client will freak out if the work is not accomplished at the said allotted time. Then, some clients will curse the translator or translation agency to death, leaving some bad comments and telling the translation agency that he or she will sue them. Gracious! I guess this is not the ideal type of behavior  for a reputable translation agency or translator. On the other hand, there are still some reliable and professional translation companies and translators that are professionally geared with knowledge, expertise and discipline. Finding these, I guess, is the most important thing in the translation industry. Indeed, the translation process needs professionalism and thus, hiring a professional translator or translation agency should be a priority as well. Clients should know that prices or rates of translation are a good factor to consider. However, it isn’t always the factor that will help or will guarantee that clients get a good finished product. Therefore, clients should be wise to hire a reliable translation company. However, how can clients know if the translator or the translation company is reliable, and that there is no monkey business involved? Simply, it is through knowing the background or researching about the clients of the translation company. Otherwise, if the agency did not show or post their usual clients on their page, maybe it is one of the reasons not to trust the translator or the translation agency. Probably, they just want your money and leave you all behind. And if that happens, of course, you are the loser
