Finding That Perfect Community in Playa del Carmen – My Personal Pick!

We all know that finding the right location is one if the most important steps in finding the right home.  Playa del Carmen real estate is no exception.  The difference is that if you're searching back home, you know the cities and communities; even when you don't know a specific city, you can quickly get a feel for which areas you would like to live in.

When you're searching for that first condo or home in Playa del Carmen, you have two points working against you.  One is that at first you are not physically there; the other is that you don't know the communities, and you don't even know “how Mexico works” so you can quickly identify the right community.

So, for this reason, I'm going to offer my personal pick for a community in Playa del Carmen.  It may be the right community for you, and even if it isn't it will help you get a feel for what kind of things you could look for.

My pick: El Cielo Residencial

Why?

Exclusive Location – El Cielo is located just out of town in an area known as the Diamond Zone.  It is surrounded by nice golf courses (professionally designed) and upscale resorts. Gated security and restricted access ensures an exclusive setting within the community as well.

Nearby Beach – One of the top beaches in the area is located just a short bike ride or even a walk away.  Playa del Carmen's beaches are very nice, with soft, white sand and bright turquoise water.  Of course, year-round sunny weather means you can enjoy these beaches all the time. Near Downtown – Downtown is about a 10 minute drive away, where you can find nice shops, bars, supermarkets, excellent restaurants and all sorts of other services and activities.

Nice Real Estate Options – The community is still being developed, but the houses which are here are  nicely designed and of good quality, as are the condos.  They are also visually pleasant making the community a great place just to walk around.

Prices – With all of this – nice homes in an exclusive and convenient location – you'd expect prices to be high.  But prices usually tend to be even just a bit lower than downtown, which is already low-priced for a home in paradise!

There you have one excellent option for your community to live in Playa del Carmen.  There are certainly other great options, but I would say that El Cielo is always a great place to start!
