There is also The Dundas Arms based between the Kennet and Avon Canal and the River Kennet. It is a picturesque 18th Century pub with rooms and offers seasonal British food and a great selection of wines and ales in a relaxing atmosphere.

What’s nice too is the number of independent pubs and restaurants as well as independent cafes. Shopping aside, this makes Newbury all the more preferable for a day out and night out.
