When looking for Guanajuato real estate I would start in Mineral de Pozos,Guanajuato real estate Articles Guanajuato. It is at the end of contrarian investment timeline, meaning the new Pueblo Magico designation Spring 2012 by the government has increased purchasing dramatically and the once scourned colonial, historical town is under popular investigation by the mainstream investor. The famous, the deep-pockets have come and bought. The main stream can jump on board sooner than later and begin to renovate or speculate.

The 30 km bike trail with three levels of difficulty winding through the ruins will be complete 2013. It will be the first of its' kind in Mexico and perhaps North America. The abandoned gold and silver mines and ruins of grand, once elegant structures captivate and inspire and for sure are not to be found anywhere but in Pozos. It is the perfect time to be looking at Guanajuato real estate right here in a growing community of international investors and nationals who know to appreciate their heritage and see the value in the real estate.

Historic, authentic and colonial keep Pozos set apart from all other places in Guanajuato. A 400 year old church serves as the anchor to the families and generations of miners, farmers and cowboys. The rolling town hills from east to west and the flat desert terrrain in the valley around town offer big blue skies and distant panorama of mountains. Cactus both small and enormous dot the land. Mesquite trees and pepper trees offer shade for picnics and locales on their way to and from the market. Horses graze, small stampedes of sheep and cows share known paths, and roosters are the local alarm clocks. It is the last of the wild frontier where land, sky, animals, agriculture and people all co-exist.

If you are wanting to be immersed in the true Mexican experience, and value history, nature, simplicity and solitude, Pozos is worth a look. The quirky, artistic community of entrepreneurs is growing and galleries, jewelers, restaurants, writers, painters, architects, and more are finding their homes here with roots both part and full time. It can be an interesting process to go and come. Over the last 3.5 years, I have seen people shift from part time to almost full time because they simply want to be here more than anywhere else. The fresh air, the lack of commotion, the perfect weather, the pace of life, the amazing blue skies....all captivating. The malls, the traffic, the chaos are not present in Pozos. One can ventire out to a handful of cities within 45 minutes to 1.5 hours away if you desire the hectic pace and the need to shop, fix your laptop, of see a new release movie.

Other great places do exist in Guanajuato, Mexico but to me, nothing as special as Mineral de Pozos. Build around ruins, capture the vistas, build a ranch and run a business of canyon tours on horseback, plant lavender and be the Provence in Mexico (the climate is similar), do farm to table cafe and farm, run a B&B......Guanajuato real estate here in Pozos is all about lifestyle, adventure and building a revenue stream and/or giving back to the community and growing the confidence of the people.
