Record keeping with numerals started long before there was ever written words.

Most historians believe that real and true written were were developed independently. Mesopotamia appears to have the oldest records dated at about 3200 BC,History of Writing. Articles with writings of the Sumerians. Then there are records of the Olmec or Zapotec of ancient Mexico, having dates of near around 600 BC. While there is still debate as to whether written styles were born at Egypt near 3200 BC, and China near 1200 BC alone and independently, the evidence of such writings does exist. The debates are mostly centered around the concept of written language being passively delivered from one place to another during the course of trade being transacted.

The characters used in the language of China were most likely an independent creation. There is no evidence showing contact between China and other know literate civilizations Near East. Whats more there are clear and obvious differences between Mesopotamian and Chinese approaches to phonetic representation. The script of Egypt is dissimilar from Mesopotamian cuneiform, but there is evidence to suggest ideas of writing might have been delivered to Egypt from Mesopotamia. Then of course there remains the never deciphered Rongorongo script of Easter Island. In fact the debate is still ongoing as to whether said script is indeed true writing. One idea is that the script is a sort of fusion of cultural writings. Evidence of such fusion happening exists is many places worldwide, and may explain the impossibility of translation or decipher.

Many cases of the general concept that writing being transferred from culture to culture exist, but the specificity of the languages were independently developed. All of humanity has language, in fact it is considered to be one of the major elements that separates humans from the rest of the animal kingdom. Written language is very much responsible for the development of humanity on a global level. Long before world travel for the masses existed, and long before it became the norm for students to study abroad, cultures were able to benefit greatly from each via the written word. Books and scripts could take sale from one area to another as trade would be taking place. Ideas regarding the world could be shared on a grand scale, and an increased knowledge of all sciences could be shared from continent to continent.

One of the greatest beneficiaries of the written word has been the great religions of the world. What better way to spread the word than to be able to leave a book behind before one’s departure? The written word seems to have meant more than the spoken word due to humanity’s ability to preserve the written word seemingly for an eternity.

This website is devoted to writing for profit. There can be no value placed on the written word that rates too high. That of course is my opinion, however there are many who would agree with me when i say that not one legit business can survive these days without some sort of assistance from a writer. That is where you come in. You are the pro. It is you who can give the customers what they need so that they in turn can satisfy their customers as well.
