Whether you've been in business for a while or you are a brand new business owner, you must do some work before you launch your website to make it works to your advantage. And what I mean by "do some work" is as your site is being built get your social media sites ready, too!

Lately,How To Have A Successful Website Launch Articles I've been involved in some really awesome and smart marketing projects with my clients. These projects are new, different (what a concept) and VERY effective in attracting clients! So today I'm going to give you some tips on how you can do the same to have a successful website launch.          

I have had the opportunity to build some awesome websites for my clients. When I build a website I'm not just building a site. I also coach my clients on how to launch their new site, showcase their business and shine the light on what it is they offer so they can attract their perfect clients. The reason I do all of those things is because a website is a great brochure, but it will not bring the sales in all by itself. 

I remember when I launched my first site. I was shaking in my boots thinking that the phone was going to start ringing off the hook and clients would be flooding in. I didn't sleep the night before my launch, and I was pacing the floor waiting for it to go LIVE!  Well, it launched. I waited, and nothing happened. I learned very quickly that I had to market my business to make sales.

And what I mean by "do some work" is as your site is being built get your social media sites ready, too!  Because if you launch your new website and have no one to market it to, you won’t have the opportunity to build your list, showcase your business and get some eyeballs on your new site.

So if you already have a social media presence, start building up your following quickly.  If not, start building your following quickly! Do you see much difference there?

First, find out where your target market is hanging out because you want to connect with the peeps that will LOVE your message, your products and your services.  There are many ways to do this, and, if you don't know how to get started, you may want to hire someone who is an expert in this area.

NOW, start thinking about what you can give away; it could be one really cool thing that your potential clients will rush to sign up for.  For example, if you make jewelry, and you have a piece that you can give away, create a campaign around that piece.  If you are a coach, give away a free coaching session. If you are a web designer, give away a landing page or a custom Facebook fan page or twitter background. If you are a marketing expert, give away an assessment.

Then, go out and find people who will JV or partner with you; this doesn’t have to be a hard thing to do. Just contact people that you feel are a good match for your target and ask them to post something on their Facebook page for you.  Also, you could have them mention your launch under the 'recommendation' or 'worth a look' section in their newsletter, or even have them tweet about it for you. Make sure that they have a decent list on their own social sites because you want to connect with as many people as you can. Just be prepared to have what you want said written out for them so it makes it easy for them to mention you on their sites! 

If you follow these suggestions and do this strategy correctly, you will have something really exciting to offer that will help you build a solid list. You will be communicating directly to your perfect clients and making money much quicker.  Now launch your site and watch the magic happen!
