If you ever have a complaint on the premises that arises, the apartment manager should aid you in resolving the issue. Most complaints resolve around noise, neighbors, and the apartment staff.  The manager should act as an arbitrator and assist all parties come to an amiable solution.  

Be sure and notate exactly what your complaint is. Take detailed notes and keep the proper dates, times, and photos if applicable. If the manager sees that you have been keeping diligent notes, they are more likely to solve your issue quickly.

Whether its a leaky faucet, a broken window, or an inoperable refrigerator, you might be able to drop a request form to the office or make an oral request.
