Ah yes, getting rich on the internet. It seems like everyone is doing cartwheels and dancing for joy over the amount of wealth being earned online these days. You see it everywhere you go; get rich quick, earn thousands a day. Just the other day I saw a website claiming that they could guarantee to make me a millionaire overnight. Wow, wouldn’t that be something.

Ah yes,Internet Income: Why Such a Huge Success? Articles getting rich on the internet.

Let’s face the truth people, get rich schemes are exactly that: schemes.  Try to remember if making thousands from sitting in your computer chair was really that simple than who would fix your plumbing, cut your hair, or prepare your meal at a restaurant?  However, the promise of money flowing in your door with little or no effort is simply too difficult to resist for many, myself included.

Why So Many Are Failing:

I’d like to start off with the completely obvious.  I’m sure we’ve all heard the phrase “if it’s too good to be true, it probably is”.  Well I hate to break it to you but filling out mindless surveys, signing up for free offers and clicking on emails will do absolutely nothing for you – Unless you enjoy the thought of thousands of spam emails and telemarketers calling you constantly at all hours of the night.  Consider this:  The average payout for a “get paid to click” email is $0.002 so if we do the math, you’d have to click 10,000 emails to earn 10 cents!

Unfortunately, so many have fallen into this repetitive circle only to find out that they either earning pennies by the hour.

What Really Works:

I think the best advice anyone ever gave to me is that in this world “there’s no such thing as a free lunch”.  Any legitimate franchise, home based business, or venture will require an investment from the parties looking to profit from it.

Any home based business should be viewed like a franchise opportunity.  For example:  If you were thinking of buying a restaurant franchise, would you choose McDonalds, Burger King, or TGI Fridays?  What are the costs involved for starting the franchise, and which has the greatest profit margin?  Which is easiest to market, and will wrap people in and sell them on the product once they see it?

Look For:

·         A professional reseller website that grabs your attention

·         Real products, i.e. software, reseller website, etc. and steer clear of books promising success

·         Extensive training and phone support – Any website without a phone # is a scam

Whenever I see a new opportunity I think to myself “if I’m sold on this program, others will be too”.  With that in mind I’ve chosen established home based business opportunities with low startup costs, solid support, training and a product that grabs attention and screams “BUY ME”.
