Like most people,Managing Your Energy Articles if you are building a business or considering it, you are doing so on a part-time basis.  If that is the case I’m sure that after a long day at work, the last thing you want to do, is more work.  Unfortunately, building a legitimate business with a long-term goal in mind will require hard work, and lots of it.  The trick is to not let it feel like work and to not get burnt out doing it.  Managing your energy goes hand in hand with the time management email I sent you previously.  If you use your time wisely you will have more time to do other things, especially rest.  Sleep is so crucial to staying alert and being productive.  Sleep deprivation is affecting so many of us that the negative effects not only damage our output, but much worse, our general health.  Good health is by far the most important thing, your most prized possession. Without it you can’t do anything, or enjoy anything.  People don’t realize how important rest is in maintaining good mental, physical, and even spiritual health.

There is a direct correlation between how well rested you are and how efficient you will be at any task you perform.  The more energy you have, the more you can get done in less time, and the more money you will be able to make.  If you have some nights when you’re full of energy and want to get a lot done for your business, by all means do.  It would be great to have them all the time, however, if you only have a few solid hours a night and need to get up early the next morning for your regular job, don’t feel guilty in the least.  Yes, you may have to sacrifice something for it but that goes with the territory and you already know that.  Do the best you can and do it consistently.  Sleep well and be able to face each day with a clear mind and positive attitude.  Staying calm and avoiding stress whenever possible will do wonders to keep your energy reserves full.  So much of it gets wasted on being nervous, angry, pessimistic, etc…True success will come when a healthy individual can focus his/her energy with the right attitude, in less time, and produce above average results.  You can do this.
