The master key will open that lock and several others in a group while; the change key will open only that specific lock. A skilled and expert locksmith should have a complete knowledge of how to install a range of lock types and lock size are serviced and installed. They learn this during their training sessions. Another major expertise of the workers is the key duplication. It requires an effective knowledge of the key cutting machinery. They should also have a knowhow of hot to unlock a safe or a vault that is mostly guarded by a special lock such as a combination lock.

The unlocking of such things requires a high precision and experience. In addition to these a locksmith should be skilled in communication with the people and he should also be very understanding and adaptable to the situation.
