Pardon is the forgiveness of crime that may associate with a person. The purpose of the pardon is to remove the criminal records of a person after a mechanism that can be designed by the authorities of Canada. The legal rules and regulations for criminals are very restrictive in Canada. And the second demand or condition is to wait for an appropriate time period in order to observe that this person is completing his sentences or not.In Canada a person can apply for the pardon with the Parole Board of Canada. It is a federal agency that has the right to make pardons under the criminal record act, which is known as ‘CRA’. An applicant has to fill a tedious amount of forms that are available in the office of Parole Board.

The cost of pardon application is $50. Some other costs may also associate like, fingerprinting fees, local police record search fees and court search information fees. Thus the total cost becomes about $150. This cost is also depends on the types and number of convictions a person have. If anyone want to carry this whole process smoothly then he\she must have to collect the require documents before submitting an application for pardon. Nowadays board of Parole is thinking about to increase the cost of pardon. According to new legislation the fees will increase to 631$ from 150$. The Board of Parole wants to increase the fees because they want to take off the financial burden from tax to the individual applicant. According to new legislations it also becomes very difficult for some sort of cases to gain pardon or even it may also becomes impossible for some cases to apply for pardon.
