The next edition of Robotica, the fair dedicated to humanoid and service robots, will be held in Rho (Milan) from the 3rd to the 6th of October 2012.
The dates of the next edition of Robotica, the expo entirely dedicated to the world of robotics and that has taken place for some years in Rho fairgrounds (Milan), have been decided: the event will kick off on the 3rd of October and for 4 days, until the 6th, the Milan fairgrounds will attract experts and professionals of this field.
Expectations for the event are very high, and it could not be otherwise, considering the success achieved by Robotica last year: the 2011 edition, indeed, has been characterized by important numbers, numbers that work as an evidence of the improvement as both as exhibitory space –and consequently exhibitors- and as turnout are concerned. In comparison to past years, indeed, in 2011 the exhibitory spaces tripled, and the number of exhibitors doubled. A good point scored by a young fair, which will celebrate its 4th edition this year.
In order to repeat – and if possible increase – the success achieved in the past, Robotica will have a new formula and a renewed layout: the fair, indeed, will be organized to be divided according to different thematic areas, to offer a complete and precise overlook on the various aspects that are part of the world of robotics. These are the thematic areas: Mechatronics & components (dedicated to manufacturers of robots and components), Medical & Health (medical robots for assistance for disabled people), Cyborg & Humanoid (humanoid or bionic robots), Search & Rescue (rescue and search robots, for work in hostile environments), Safety & Security (robots for assistance, safety for people and objects, telepresence), Educational (educational and teaching robots), Entertainment (robotic games), 3D & Prototyping (virtual reality and prototyping), Inventors (ideas and inventions), Arduino Workshop (dedicated to users and developers of this famous platform). A complete and varied offer, which turns Robotica into the only Italian event entirely dedicated to humanoid and service robots, which can attract the best of the research and production of the sector as far as both Italian and international markets are concerned.
If the layout of the fair has been renewed, the essence of the event has not changed: Robotica has been especially conceived to promote an exchange between research , industry and finance and to support the industrial development of the sector. And for this reason the program of the event also includes several meetings that complete the offer of Robotica: high level meetings and conferences, which are very useful to examine the most important and meaningful issues regarding the world of robotics, automation and everything concerning this field, and which turn Robotics into a meeting ground for research and industry.
The date to save is the 3rd of October, to learn all the news and innovations of a very promising sector, which can offer many solutions to be applied in many different contexts.
