Workplace safety trainings are always
essential in any type of business. Aside from being mandated by law, it serves
as an awareness program that each employee must know of. These safety training sessions help create a
more secure environment that not only contributes to better working habits but
retention as well. However, these trainings on workplace health and safety aren’t the best topics to talk about.
Employees refer to them as a bore and they all dread to be in one.
We all know
that these types of training are the traditional long talks and power point
media presentations but it seems as though we know too little or not updated as
we thought we were. Over time, people have been trying to break through this. New
ways and styles have been tried and tested and amongst them all, one proved to
work. Believe it or not, they now give out worksafe
trainings through songs! For example, in risk management training, they belt out tunes related to risk
management itself. Aside from being an attention-getter, this method also works
because the safety tips are in the lyrics which make it easy for the employees
to remember.
It’s no
wonder this new method works. It’s a breath of fresh air and employees won’t
