SGS has been formally registered as an EU Timber Regulation (995/2010) Monitoring Organization by the European Commission. As a registered Monitoring Organization, we are able to provide EU operators – those who place timber and timber products on the EU market for the first time – and traders with operational due diligence systems, something they are obliged to implement under this regulation.
