Promotional items can be used for things other than promoting a business name or product. You or any other person can design or brand more items than you could imagine. There is clothing that can be all sorts of colors and types. You can have it printed,Step Things Up With Your Own T-shirt Design Articles embroidered, even dyed. You could have your own anti-Starbucks travel mug to carry around with a mock company label. There are some fun ideas for the frustrated designer in us all.

Don't you just love those paper umbrellas that the Geisha's walk around with, or used to anyway. An umbrella gets used for so many reasons. I see them all day long in my city. They protect people from the burning sun in the summer heat, which seems to last forever around here. There are companies that create specific umbrellas for business use. You could design your own as well. Imagine if you need some gifts for people attending a reunion or wedding. A colorful umbrella of your own design would be so cool.

You see those rich and famous types spending bucks on designer labels all day long. I am not talking gowns here, I mean t-shirts for crying out loud. I see it at the mall too. Do you really need to spend 60 plus on something that is sporting old flash style tattoos. If I had the means of those gods of the mainstream media, I would have my own designed. You can go to a company and they will put your image on a t-shirt. It is very simple. Your photo or a drawing done by your 5 year old. You could even toss some bleach on it for that hundred plus dollar look.

If you get yourself a travel mug, think about all the money that you will save. They say the average coffee drinker that buys instead of makes at home spends maybe $10 a day, 5 days a week. If you are a smoker, tack on at least another 6 bucks! For an average month that could be over $350! So, quit smoking and make at home, seriously, it is sad to give up all our cash on products in retail. I for one am tired of being a walking advertisement for these places. That is why customized products appeal to me so much.

What about those polo shirts with the little labels over the left side of your chest. Do you like the tiny guy on a horse with a mallet? Or maybe you are a fan of the alligator? Are you one of those people who buy shirts from thrift stores with other peoples names embroidered on them? You could take a polo style shirt and put any saying or design that you want on it. Why not? If you are tired of being force fed fashion then make your own little guy, riding an alligator with a flower in his hand and fairy wings.
