Stun guns and its limitations

A stun gun acts as a strong self defense weapon if it is used in a proper way. It passes a current of low ampere in the attackers body. Due to this the attacker is immobilized because the current leads to the rapid muscle contraction which means that his muscles are forced to do a huge amount of worn in a very small time. This will decline his energy level and he will not be able to move. The stun gun is good way of self defense but there are some problems associated with it.

The first problem is that a stun gun shot effects the attacker in a time gap of three seconds or sometime in five seconds. But if the attacker's tolerance limit is high then it requires more than five second. Thus the attacker has sufficient time to defend himself.

The problem is that if the attacker is a heart patient then he can die because of the surprise offered by stun guns. Generally this is rare but can happen. Because of this we have to face police inquiries.

The third problem is that these guns are not allowed in every countries and their states. So you need to confirm with the local law enforcement before keeping a stun gun. If you keep a stun gun in a state or country in which it is banned than you are committing a crime for which you will be punished.

The fourth problem associated with stun guns is that if they are used from a very short range or from a range in which the attacker can touch you or your stun gun Then you are also affected by the shot. But there is a solution to this problem .You can wear Thor shields to neutralize its effect on themselves. The thor shield is a fabric made from a material that can neutralize the electric charge. The shield loop backs the current back to the gun. The fabric offers a low resistance to the charge than our body. Therefore the charge goes into the shield instead of entering into your body. Therefore only the attacker gets stunned and you never get affected. But there is a problem with the thor shields as they are only provided to the military and law agencies because if they are sold publicly then the criminals will buy these shields and their will be no effect of Stun gun on them.
