Traditional estate agents need to learn from in-store innovation in other sectors if they want to future-proof their position in the digital economy. Sure, they may be safe for now but this could be sure to change in time to come. They do still have a place and a requirement but it could change in the future based on the manner to how the internet is now working and the manner to how people are buying and selling homes.

Purplebricks estimates that around 70% of its business takes place outside of normal working hours, which is a clue as to what the UK property market is looking for: convenience. This alone is what can be seen as the element of convenience as being key in the wider process of estate agency as a whole. A lot of the top estate agents in the UK, dotted across the major areas of the UK have all had to go back and think how they can deliver their services a lot better.

Online portals have given high-street estate agents an ever-tighter stranglehold on property sales and lettings. There is however a catch in the wider sense of things due in part to the manner the transaction is made to work. For example, there is money to be paid on the way in / up front. The average high-street estate agent usually charges around 1.6% and this is in turn a lower figure when you hire in place an online estate agent. There are obvious advantages of using an online estate agent, however, high street estate agents have many advantages as well. It is best to weigh the pros and cons of each against one another. For one, a live estate agent can let you speak one on one and in a more direct overall manner.

For some, they feel it could be the beginning of the end of and for the high street estate agent. Many people dislike estate agents, and thanks to huge levels of investment in tech start-upsArticle Submission, consumers now have the option to never deal with(one again. This has been due to and thanks to the presence of online / internet estate agents doing this job. This is a growing market overall and one which is and seems here to stay.
