At the BIT 2009 there is a big stand for the whole Veneto region that once more is focused on national and international tourism.
In Veneto alone, almost one sixth of the whole national tourism has been registered, this tourism is mainly developed by the Italian touristic attractions (last year almost 61 million tourists have been registered). This is exactly why the region invests so much in promotion and in the next BIT (International Tourist Stock Exchange, a manifestation organized in February at the very new Milan Fair exhibition center in Rho).
The responsible curators guarantee that it will be a real media event, a mix between beauties shows and an global exaltation of the well-known Venetian hospitality that could be seen with your own eyes at the stand of the Venetian region at the Pavilion 3P/1 – Stand P40 S73 of the exhibition center. This huge exhibition space has been projected to attract a lot of visitors and curious people every hours with a very interesting and complete daily planning on the world of venetian tourist, proposing all the possible solutions for whom wish to spend a week-end or the holiday in this region.
The exhibition space will be presented and inaugurated on the first day of the manifestation (Thursday 20, February at midday and half hour) where it will be also possible to point out the actual situation for what concerns the whole tourism economic market with the most important sector operators, some representatives of Venice hotel and other important figures who live in concrete the tourism sector, a market able to employ beyond 450.000 operators and to create a total revenue beyond 12 billion Euro.
How it is easy to note, most of the region tourism is because of the presence of one important city, unique in its genre, that all people and country in the world envy us and so wish to visit…especially if they can find some special offers that they can't afford to miss.
But we surely can’t forget that the Veneto region doesn’t have just this main attraction, but it has also the luck to have a complete landscape: from the sea (beyond the lagoon there are nice tourist locations like Bibione e Lignano Sabbiadoro), to the mountain with some of Dolomites Alps’ most beautiful peaks. All this allows to this region satisfying every need, from the romanticism of Venice hotels, to fun and amusement of the huge beaches and other sea places…and we can’t forget the beautiful mountain landscapes.
Maybe this is just the secret of this territory, that allows to the Veneto region being so well-attended and well-loved by Italian tourists but also by tourists from all over the world. But we are sure this is also thanks to the industrial sector that allows sustaining and taking care of this territory, protecting it and promoting it in an excellent way, just like only Venetian people can do.
Back to the BIT and the participation of the region, the stand of Veneto will be immediately visible after the inauguration and it will bring forward images, scents, tastes and emotions of Italy’s most famous carnival, the Venice Carnival, after this the day will proceed with music of the Gran Teatro La Fenice with impromptu dances of Bassano.
