You don't get handed lists, but people are expecting a small something that will remind them that they matter. Promotional merchandise might be what you need.
As a business owner, you want to look good. You want people to like what you give them and not feel that it is a joke. So many companies have cut back what they pay and their benefits too. Giving something decent is a big deal. You do appreciate your employees and they need to know it.
So what makes a really incredible holiday gift for your clients? Well, one that is not only well thought out but is also useful. If you know your clients well, then you may be able to pinpoint the perfect promotional item to give them for the holidays. But lets say you are not sure what they would like, there are still ways to come up with some unique ideas that you can use to impress your clients and also promote your business.
Don't make the mistake of giving old stuff out because it is there. You need fresh and sparkly for the sparkly season. There are simple ways to make things more impressive. When you wrap something in cellophane it takes it to another level. I'm talking about taking a few company mugs and filling one with a bag of nice coffee and the other with some good cocoa. Wrap them together and put on some ribbons.
There are ways to give some promotional items without going overboard on cost, or looking cheap. You could make a summer memory basket. Buy a bucket that can be used at the beach. It can be a bright kids plastic bucket. Put some snacks in there, like chips and salsa that the whole office will enjoy. Also add some company t-shirts rolled up longways, and tied, to stick out of the top. Maybe even a towel. Don't forget to add some plastic company cups and a bunch of colorful candy. This is great in a cold winter.
