We are pleased to announce that employees of True Telecom have raised a total of £85.50 for Sport Relief 2016.
Last Friday, we held an in-office Sports Day and participated in a number of fun-filled events including a traditional Egg and Spoon Race and a number of team events, to raise additional funds for the charity.
The UK based charity Comic Relief uses cash raised through Sport Relief to transform lives across the UK and the world’s poorest communities. Of all the money raised by the public through Sport Relief, 50% is used to make a difference right here in the UK, and 50% goes towards transforming lives across the world’s poorest communities.
Stuart Griffiths, CEO of True Telecom comments, “Supporting charity has always been a priority here at True Telecom, so it’s a real pleasure to raise some valuable funds in a variety of interesting ways for Sport Relief. From January to December of last year, employees of True Telecom raised over £2000.00 for six different UK based charities, which I personally feel is a massive achievement. We’ve seen huge growth here at True Telecom over the past few months and nothing makes us come together more, than raising money for charity.”
