If you are like most women, you have never really put any thought into starting your own business or being a woman entrepreneur. It seems too scary, too unsure, and the chances of failure seem too high. In fact, you probably don’t think that you have what it takes to make it in the business world as your own boss.

So, what do you need to be a woman entrepreneur?

-    You don’t need a degree in business. You don’t even need a college degree. Some of the most successful entrepreneurs, both male and female, didn’t finish college.

-    You don’t need a lot of start-up capital. If you are thinking that you can’t start your business because you don’t have any money, then you are wrong. There are companies that you can start up online at zero to very little cost, which will help you get a feel for what working for yourself is like.

-    You also don’t need an office, a warehouse, a staff, a copying machine, or a tax attorney (at least not at first!). You can start your business quickly and easily without paying out a lot of money.

One way that you can become a woman entrepreneur and start your business going is to not quit your full-time job and slowly transition into running your own business. Quitting your full-time job puts a lot of pressure on you to succeed initially, and that is something that you don’t need. But, by allowing yourself the time to grow into your new business, you will feel much more secure.
