MLMer’s are constantly being disappointed when they offer to show their opportunity to somebody who does not care. They carry their disappointment with them all day and rationalizes that the person that rejected them is stupid for not wanting more money. Here is a way to get more qualified prospects who want to look at your opportunity.

I was at a networking site talking to MLMer's about their problems and concerns. One concern keeps on popping up and that is why people are so stupid to not want to make more money.

What most MLMer's don't realize is that the uninterested prospect isn't really stupid,What To Do If Somebody Doesn’t Want To Look At Your Business Opportunity Articles and it's not really the prospect's fault. But it is the fault of the MLMer not to move on and find the more qualified prospects. Here's how the conversation went.

MLMer: I just ask a person to listen to a phone presentation to give them info to what I really do. Then they complain that they're broke or either have a health problem. Now, if I told you I had something that could help you in both ways with no risk involved would you do it?

Me: Well, hate to say this but no. Here's why.

I'm coming from a direct response background. A lot of people are just satisfied with their crappy situations and don't want to change. No matter what you tell these non-ambitious people - they won't budge.

A better (and MUCH less stressful) way I found is to target the people who are looking for business opportunities. And I'm not talking about seeing a sharply dressed man or woman at the gas station and strike up a conversation with them to see if they are looking for something better either!

What I would do is to find a list of people who have responded to money making opportunities or are searching for money making opportunities (or your products) through TARGETED magazine, journals, etc., write a killer ad that real business opportunity seekers will WANT to respond to and then slowly work that hot prospect ...and subdue them into your opportunity!

Oh and one more thing...if you don't target your audience, it's like trying to sell golf clubs and golf shoes to people who are obsessed with basketball!

MLMer: Well, where do you normally find your people online?

Me: Pay Per click, classified newspaper groups, article marketing, renting out lists, offline advertising in targeted publications, social networks, just to name a few!

You need to invest some money in a few of them to make it effective, but the returns are enormous if you write great ad copy! One of my business partners spent about $75 on a Pay per click campaign and recruited 50 downline for his health and fitness MLM.

You see, the old fashioned way of recruiting is to blindly recruit everybody they see down the street. Even the window washer at the gas station! But that's just plain ineffective.

What you should really do is target the people who are doing searches on and offline and capture them that way. Put up an enticing advertisement and if the lookers see your advertisement and are interested they will come automatically without embarrassing yourself in the process!

Sure you will have to cough up some money to get your advertisement exposed to a wider audience, but in my opinion it's much more effective and costs much less in time, effort and embarrassment!
