Do you love your corporate more than yourself? then you will suffer from job insecurity

Why many employees suffer from job insecurity.. because they prefer to be like 'Panda' in bamoo thicket...

None one would deny that they have not heard or know of the famous saying “Thou Shalt Love Thy Neighbor as Thyself”. It was a time when people-people crisis was on the peak, hence this message was in great demand.  But today, we need to rephrase the term as “Thou Shalt Love Thyself First”.  Why this message is so important for the corporate?

Life in corporate has become very mechanical and result oriented.  It is not enough to produce the result in corporate, it has to be shown and communicated to all concerned, otherwise, the people will be proclaimed as non performers.  Show what you do, speak more than what you have done, show what you have not done or even thought of as already done and learn to tell what your boss wanted as the most relevant and important thing for the organization, is the essential culture growing rapidly in many corporate.  In the whole process, the people are getting evolved and making meaning of their just existence and giving more vent to others than oneself.  Complete self negation, lack of self appreciation, lack of introspection & self counseling, lack of ability to see and enjoy the beauty and variety within themselves are the large list of malady, most corporate employees succumb to and carry with.

Can you see a corporate employee who is very confident about his/her career say after three years of stint in the same organization?  How to overcome a sudden crisis to their career?  If some one is called a ‘donkey’ naturally the receiver feels humiliated.  Is the word donkey hurt them deeply or the meaning attached to the word ‘donkey’ caused despondency in them.  It is the meaning or interpretation to the word that hurts people most.

Lack of courage makes one dependent on something.  A smoker or an alcoholic person is so addicted to the said behaviour because smoking or drinking alcohol gives him some happiness.   They so desperately need such happiness to overcome some self imposed fear.   Another extreme is that, some people abuse ‘self’ because of their fear of something.

How courage and confidence can be regained?  Source of the problem is not with the corporate but it lies deeply with the employee.  The security what the employees are searching for from the corporate would never happen.  Security born out of confidence and confidence born out knowledge and self belief of the people.  They need to understand the definition of security and insecurity in the first place.

Unfortunately, people who are as giant as an elephant in their knowledge and experience have a very small eye with poor sight, hence they never see the ‘self’.   With the eyes, they can see only their corporate and not their knowledge domain.  The pity is that, they believe that have everything because of the corporate and without the corporate, they cannot survive.

People should understand that if they remain in a single pond, they never grow or evolve.  Many evolutionary theories suggest that the multiple habitat adaptations acquired by many animals possibly because they had the courage to challenge themselves to do so.  To adapt to a new habitat, one need courage and success instinct.  When the entire plant and animal kingdom has so much of facts and science to share to the corporate people, why they should remain as ‘Panda’ in a bamboo thickets. Learn to love yourself and your strengthScience Articles, you can build a new world for you.
