It was nonimated for 10 academy awards in all including two for Sylvester Stallone himself, the man with the droop eyes. Rocky won best director and best film editing.

Since then, Sylvester Stallone has given us Rocky 1, 2, 3, 4, 5 and now Rocky Balboa. Guess what? I haven’t mentioned his many other box office films like Cobra, First Blood, Rambo, Cliffhanger and many more. Because of Stallone, Rocky is a household name and a hero to millions of people worldwide. He gave birth to a dream millions were waiting for.
