Before enrolling for the CNA Certification Program, they must go through some tests, which are used to check that the aspirants do not have any kind of communicable disease or criminal history in the past.

CNA training program includes training the students about the basic clinical skills, such as taking care of the patients, helping them in bathing and grooming, listening to their concerns, checking the crucial signs and reporting them to the registered nurse and so on.

The length of this CNA Certification program may vary from state to state. However, it may last from one to may be two years. The aspirants are required to finish up minimum of seventy five hours of training, which is further divided in fifty one hours of theoretical lectures and twenty four hours of hands-on training session.

Once the students have successfully completed the training, it is mandatory for all of them to clear the CNA examinations in order to receive CNA certification. The examinations are of two types- written and practical.

While attempting the practical examination during the CNA Certification Program, they must follow some instructions, which will help them to score higher marks in examination. The instructions include washing hands before touching or giving any kind of medication to the patient, measuring temperature etc.

The faculty members encourage the students to go for internship programs, which will help them gain some practical experience in this line of work. Students must be aware and remember to renew their CNA certification every two years.
