SBI Clerk exam is conducted at a national level to recruit clerks for the bank. Clerks also have theoption of getting promoted to officer rank by taking internal exams and appearing in theinterview. Eligibility criteria:

The candidate must be minimum 20 years of age and maximum 28 years, however, age relaxation is available for reserved categories and few other exceptions.

Also, the candidate must hold a bachelor’s degree from a recognised university.

The SBI clerk exam has two round of online MCQ based exams, the exam centre is mentioned in admit card, each candidate is provided one computer system, and thecandidate is free to choose which section to attempt first.

Preliminary Examination:

The First round is the preliminary round, it consists of 100 questions, and time given for them is 1 hour(60mins).

Mains Examination:

Candidates who qualify in the first round of examination give the second round i.e., mains examination. The mains exam is of two hours and has 200 questions in total.

All section except English is available in both English and Hindi languages. Also, negative 1/4th marks are awarded for every wrong answer. Candidates need to score above specific cut-off marks to get called for the interview. 5% cutoff marks relaxation is available for reserved category candidates.

The final allotment of thejob is done through an aggregate merit list.
