It may sound funny to know that only sound help the corporate employees to achieve success as silence......

Sound and silence,Is it dangerous to be silent in corporate? Articles do they imply any meaning or importance to the corporate governance?  If so, is the same principle as what corporate has understood about sound and silence is what understood by animals also?

To achieve anything, sound or silence is required the most? Animals are the best example we can find in nature who have perfectly understood the difference between the sound and silence.   When a predator wants to hunt its prey, it has to be very silent and diligent.   It can’t afford to make sound to show or notify its presence to the prey animal and such an act may go adversely to their effort. 

When they want to establish their territory or display their strength, certainly they produce sound.  To call and communicate various messages to other members of the group also animals produce and use sound. 

Certainly, animals use sound for communication and when the question of achievement comes, strategically, animals prefers to be silent or use silence to be their weapon. 

How about corporate world?  How do employees conduct themselves in the organization?  In general, most corporate employees use sound as weapon to show their strength, power, greatness and knowledge.   They throw their weight around by producing sound.  By using loud words and questions, they try to impress or harass their subordinates and team mates.  In industry, the key weapon used for the achievement by people is nothing but ‘sound’ only.  Similarly, the sound only they use to tell to the world if they have achieved anything.    

Silence is considered to be the sign of weakness or lack of leadership quality or lack of initiative or lack of participating style or ignorance in most corporate. 

When someone makes sound the most will get noticed as super performer.  Even to market a product, only the style of ‘sound’ and not the style of ‘silence’ work well.  

The fundamental difference between the achievements in animal world and in corporate is that achievement is very true and self gratifying in animal world whereas; it is always depending upon how much satisfaction the achievement of the achiever could offer to others, especially to the boss matter a lot in corporate.   

By being silent, neither the achiever nor the achievement will get noticed in the corporate world as they are always programmed to think that their very existence is based on how well they are perceived by others as ‘achievers’.    To crate a perception or a belief, one has to use sound and that is why corporate employees in general are very ‘self enterprising’ and ‘self advertising’.  

The message is that silence alone will offer true achievement and that is why the popular saying goes like this “speech is silver and silence is gold”.
