Maric College – San Diego Helps Students Achieve Academic and Career GoalsWith multiple locations across the state of California in United States , Maric College is dedicated to providing quality programs integrating curriculum with professional skill development. Brief HistoryExcellence in tradition commenced in 1987 when Educational Medical Inc purchased three Maric Colleges those were a group of career colleges. Training in allied health fields were offered by these colleges in Southern California . Educational Medical Inc changed its name to Quest Education Corporation in 1998. Kaplan purchased the corporation in 2000 and changed the name to Kaplan Higher Education Corporation in 2002. 30 schools in eleven states operate within the corporation. Campus Bakersfield , Modesto , Fresno , North Hollywood, North County , Palm Springs , Panorama City , Riverside , Sacramento , Stockton , and San Diego are the campus locations. Nine associate's degree and certificate programs are offered by the campus currently for students. Maric College campuses are located at 3666 Kearny Villa Rd Ste 100 San Diego , CA 92123 , 9055 Balboa Avenue , Kearny Mesa , San Diego , CA 92123 , and Grantville, 6160 Mission Gorge Road, San Diego , CA 92120 . Admission Open admission policy is followed by the college. Dual credit, life experience, and advanced placements are accepted as admission credits. However, for specific requirements on the admission criteria and eligibility one can view the state university website that provides comprehensive information. Programs Offered Programs offered by the college includes arts and design, interior design, computer degrees and diplomas, health care certificates in medical assistance, dental assistance, cardiac, vascular sonography, massage therapy and various other health courses. In addition the college offers vocational studies and legal studies including criminal justice systems. Accreditation Maric College - San Diego has been duly accredited by the Accrediting Commission of Career Schools and Colleges of Technology (ACCSCT). ACCSCT is one of the nationally recognized accrediting agencies in the United States , recognized by the Department of Education. Student Services Maric College San Diego offers remedial services, academic and career counseling, PT cost defraying employment, career placement, and on campus library facilities for the students. No Barding and lodging facilities however, are available. Financial Aids Maric College San Diego offers a host of scholarships for the students and no less than 73 scholarship plans are available for students basing on their eligibility and requirements.
