An independent, Catholic liberal arts college located in Detroit of Michigan State in United States , Marygrove College is sponsored by the Sisters, Servants of Immaculate Heart of Mary. Brief History

Educating each student towards intellectual as well as professional competence and providing career flexibility, compassion and commitment, the College was founded in Monroe , Michigan in 1905. Today the college is a diverse melting pot of multiple cultures and ideas representing various sectors of the society.

Campus

With a 53 acre or 214,000 m 2 campuses, the college has large lawns and mature trees. Madam Cadillac and Liberal Arts Buildings have been designed in Tudor Gothic structures with stained glass windows and gates made of wrought iron. Buildings are decorated with carved wood, arched doorways, high ceilings, and also carved stone works providing some of the best Tudor Gothic structures in Metro Detroit.

Programs Offered

Carrying student strength of approximately 1100 direct students and another 2000 studying for online degrees, the college offers ten masters degrees, 32 bachelor degrees, five associate degrees, and three post baccalaureate programs. In addition the College offers a number of certification programs. Commensurate with changes in educational scenario in the country, the college continues to upgrade and modify its programs.

Accreditation

North Central Association's (NAC) Higher Learning Commission has granted accreditation to the college.
