Goods and Services Tax to be rolled from 1st July, 2017
As GST bill is proposed to roll out from 1st of July, 2017, there are lots of speculation all around. Let us now learn about the GST in detail. GST is a proposed indirect taxation which will merge all the currentindirect taxes in the country. All the GST related things are administrated by GST Council, and its chairman happens to be Union Finance Minister of India, ArunJaitley.
GST will be implemented by both the central and state governments. Existing Indian tax regime is fairly complicated, this will be much simpler with GST. There will be two types of GSTs. CGST (center levies) and SGST (state levies).
CGST will cover existing taxation like Central Excise Duty, Excise duty on medicinal preparation, Excise duty on textile products, central Service tax, Service Tax, CVA & SAD, cesses& surcharges related to supply of goods and services.
SGST will cover state value added tax/purchase tax, entertainment tax, tax on thelottery, gambling, entry tax, luxury tax, advertisement tax, and other state ceases& surcharges related to supply of goods and services.
The tax rate is said not to be much affected by the deployment of GST, thecentral government has also promised states to compensate any revenue losses for GST from the date of deployment to next five years.

US president Trump signs order to remove Obama climate Policies
US president Donald Trump signs an executive order on 28th march, 2017 to his cabinet to start removing Obama policies on environmental safety and global warming. Obama Climate Policies has been subjected to repeated scrutiny by Trump during his presidential campaign. Trump plans to revise emission rules of plants, methane leaks limits, he wants to work towards improving the scope for fossil fuel industry. Obama climate policies are widely loved by everyone; they were significant steps to save our planet. Trump government will have to fight huge teams of environmentalists and public in each and every step to root out Obama climate policies. According to Trump the entire theory of global warming and climate change is a hoax.
