Out of a Job should I join a Temp Service

    Are you out of a job and wondering if you should join a temp service.  Temp agencies are not as great as they seem, but it is becoming your only option if you are unemployed these days.  If you have a major in a certain field, you should be ok        If you are out of a job, then I would definitely consider joining a temp service.  They usually find you a job with in a week or so.  It is also a guarantee for work.  It is a nice advantage knowing you have someone looking after you.  The problem is the jobs can be inconsistent and sometime hard labor for a small amount of money.  You also want to make sure you have your work face on.  You want to make them look good .  If you get compliments from the client to the temp service, if something happens, they will push harder to find you another job.        I think temp agencies are great.  It is a good way to accumulate experience for general labor.  It is much easier going into a job knowing what you are doing rather than being completely oblivious to the task at hand.        A great advantage of a temp agency, is that you may find the jackpot.  I worked for five months through the agency making ten dollars an hour.  I got hired and three years later I was the assistant manager making nineteen dollars an hour.  It is a good possibility you could find your life long job.  You might have to be patient.
