Online Test will be conducted separately for AAO (Generalist) and AAO (Chartered Accountant) for 300 marks in the duration of 2 hours. Online test will be of objective type, multiple choices of 120 minutes (2 HRS) duration.

LIC AAO Exam Syllabus consists of questions from the topics Reasoning Ability, Quantitative Aptitude, General Knowledge, Current Affairs, Knowledge, English Language with Special emphasis on Grammar, Vocabulary and comprehension, Professional Knowledge.

Syllabus & Exam pattern is well mentioned and the Total no. of Questions: 150, marks: 150 and the Total time duration is of 120 minutes. An applicant must pass in each paper separately and should also obtain minimum marks in the aggregate of the three papers to qualify for the interview. The minimum marks to be obtained in each paper and in the aggregate shall be decided by LIC of India. Successful candidate will be eligible to be called for an Interview. The Candidates shall be ranked in the order of the aggregate of their marks in the online test and the interview and selection shall be made from among them in the order of 6 their merit having regard to the number of Apprentice Development Officers proposed to be recruited.

• Reasoning:- Focus on Comprehension Reasoning, Number Series, Coding and de-coding, Problem Solving Techniques, Statement & Conclusion type questions, arithmetic reasoning, arithmetical number series, non-verbal series, syllogistic reasoning, Seating Arrangements.
• Numerical Ability:- Questions will be asked from Simplification, Number Series, Quadratic Equations Average, Percentage, Time & Work, Area, profit & Loss, Simple & Compound Interest, Time & Speed, Investment, HCF LCM, Problem On Ages, Bar Graph, Pictorial Graph, Pie Chart. Data Interpretation is the section which have to be focused.

Questions from Marketing will also be in ample amounts to Test Your Knowledge.
• English Language:- Grammar and Vocabulary and Mainly Focus on the topics like Synonyms, Antonyms, Sentence Error, Sentence correction, fill in the blanks, Sentence Arrangements.

Insurance and Financial Marketing: Insurance and Financial Marketing Awareness with special emphasis on knowledge of Life Insurance and Financial Sector. Questions will be asked from Insurance Sector specially Life Insurance. Marketing Question will be ask from the basics of Marketing Process therefore Candidates need to focus on this Paper more as this part solely consists of 50 Marks.
