The Million Dollar QuestionIf you had all the money in the world,The Journey To Self Discovery Articles all the power in the world, all the status in the world, all the wealth in the world, all the fame, glory, accolade and prestige in the world, what would you do everyday for the rest of your life? You are not allowed to do the following because you will get bored:

1. Sleep

2. Go on holiday

3. Watch TV

4. Gamble

Now Meditate of the following scenarios:

1. You have only got 5 years to live - What would you do everyday for the rest of your life, having all the money in the world.

2. You have only got 1 year to live - What would you do.

3. You have only got 6 months to live - What would you do.

4. You have only got 1 month to live - What would you do.

7. You have only got 1 hour to live - What would you do.

The following tips should help: Think of your natural energisers - what drives you, your passion. Think in terms of service related passion, talent related passion and interest related passion.

Consider your natural strengths. What are the things you don't have to struggle to do and yet do exceptionally well? People openly commend and admire you for such a gift. Your talents!Reflect on your conscience. What gives you the greatest satisfaction in life.

Yes! You are almost there. It's encrypted into your DNA provided you have not been living a totally selfish and wicked life. It's the willingness to help other people or provide a service that benefits them.

This is what our lives are all about. We need each other to survive. The shoes you are wearing were designed by someone's need to meet people's needs. The car you drive was invented by someone's need to solve a problem that will benefit everyone.

If what you are thinking about does not benefit yourself and other people, drop it. It's a bad idea.

The world of business is about providing a service or product that meets a need. If it does not meet a need, it will not sell for a penny.

What have you got to offer that you and everyone else needs?Self-discovery is not about ‘self’ alone it's also about the people around you. This is why you have to make sure that your natural gifts (strength areas) and passion in life are directly related to meeting the needs of others.

Discover this and you will realise what you want to do for the rest of your life.

Your natural strengths (gifts and talents) come to naturally, which means improving on it will never be a struggle but progress.

Your passions, which are your natural energisers, will keep you going when others cannot and your desire to meet people's needs will enable you to use your gifts and passions to come up with a product or service that will meet a need people are willing to pay for.

I will ask you the question again:

If you had all the money in the world, what would you do everyday for the rest of your life?
