If you wish to become an IT professional, the B.Tech is that course which will open wellspring of opportunities in the technology sector. It is a four-year duration course. It’s divided into eight semesters. The curriculum is quite dynamic and comprises practical and theory sessions.

 There are diplomas in IT too. However being a short term course, it has limited opportunities for learning as compared to B.Tech. 

Students also get a chance to do internships to get a hang of actual professional life.

It completely depends on what you do in the span of four years that the course accounts to be valuable and worthwhile. 

Only the students who have passed class twelfth are eligible to pursue B.Tech in IT. They must belong to the science stream (Physics, Chemistry and Math).

Students get placed for technical roles in various companies. They get exposed to practical environments and real-life situations. By working, students are able to implement their learning practically. 

The salary package for fresher from the IT branch varies roughly from 3.6 LPA to 12 LPA. It completely depends on what you’ve learnt in a span of 4 years.
