Acer DX900 - A New Pocket PC

Acer has designed new Acer DX900 a window mobile smartphone with dual SIM capability. It is a beautiful looking device that comes with an impressive array of functions. It delivers an excellent quality and is able to perform all tasks effectively.

Cyberspace & Connectivity: -

Acer DX900 is blessed with Internet access facility via HTML web browser. The fast 533MHz processor (a Samsung S3C 6400) and Microsoft Windows mobile 6.1 professional are fairly packed. HSDPA(7.2 Mbps), WLAN Wi-Fi, GPRS and EDGE as well as Bluetooth and mini USB are all provided and add to the great package of connectivity features.

Adorable Display: -

This is a 3G device comprises 480 x 640 pixels resolution that displays 65 thousand colors on its 2.8 inches TFT resistive touch screen. The beautiful screen is also carried with a widget-based UI and handwriting recognition features. The dimensions of Acer DX900 are 106 x 60.5 x 17 mm and weight is quite hefty of 147 grams.

Quality Multimedia Features: -

It has 3.15 mega pixel camera with 2048 x 1536 pixels resolution. And many camera features such as autofocus, LED flash and other video features.  It also furnishes second VGA camera for 3G video calling. The users can play their lovable songs with the help of very operable MP3 player. Moreover with Acer DX900, the users can download polyphonic, MP3 and WAV ringtones.

Battery and Memory: -

The phonebook and call record entries are practically unlimited and it plies 128 MB of RAM and 256MB of ROM so you can get an enough storage capacity. Furthermore, it is also fitted with MicroSD expansion card slot. The battery information is not available yet.

Other Aspects: -

The device possesses pocket office feature that supports Word, Excel, PowerPoint, OneNote and PDF viewer file formats. SMS, MMS, Email and instant messaging are also available. As I have mentioned earlier that Acer DX900 is a dual SIM device plus it has a dual network facility such as for the SIM 1 you can gain Quad band GSM networks with HSDPA 850, 1900 and 2100 but for SIM 2 a quite low Tri band GSM networks.
