Released in March 2010, the HTC Legend has proven to be one of the most popular smartphones to date for the manufacturer. Much more than just a phone, this attractive device is a superb web browser, MP3 player and digital camera.

Class 10 versions of both GPRS and EDGE provide the HTC Legend with its primary method of connecting to cellular networks as well as the internet in areas with little or no 3G coverage. In areas which are covered by 3G, access to the internet is provided thanks to a HSDPA connection at speeds of up to 7.2 Mbps. This also operates alongside an HSUPA connection at 2Mbps. In locations where a wireless internet router is located, the HTC Legend utilises Wi-Fi technology in order to gain a faster internet connection. Tasks such as backing up media files and contact info can be carried out by connecting to other compatible hardware devices, thanks to Bluetooth and micro USB connections.

As well as impressive software and applications, the HTC Legend also impresses on the hardware front. A 5 MP digital camera is provided to cater to both budding photographers as well as those who just like to take spontaneous snaps. A raft of features is included within the camera which aims to simplify the task of taking great quality images. The camera can also shoot video footage in similarly high quality.
