A whopping 32 GB of internal storage is provided as standard, eliminating the need for expandable storage such as a microSD card slot.  It is highly unlikely that are usually more than 32 GB as this is capable of storing a large digital music collection, plenty of video clips and loads of other data.

Cellular networks are connected to thanks to GPRS & EDGE and class 32 versions.  Internet access is provided by Wi-Fi networks (which provides the fastest connection) and HSDPA at speeds of up to 3.6 mega bytes per second in areas which have 3G coverage.  Users can carry out a number of different tasks such as transferring files and data and backing up contact info by connecting to other compatible hardware devices such as other phones and computers.  This is made possible thanks to Bluetooth and micro USB connections.

An impressive five mega pixel digital camera with Carl Zeiss optics is included and has a number of image enhancing features which aim to improve the quality of photos as well as simplify the task of taking them.  These include Autofocus, dual led flash and video light as well as geo-tagging.  Users also have the option to shoot video footage in VGA quality at a rate of 30 frames per second.  If a secondary camera is located on the front of the handset which can be used for making video calls and taking self portrait photographs.

Plenty of additional features such as a versatile internal media player a number of pre-installed games along with access to a number of downloadable games, a stereo FM radio player, organiser and a photo/video editor.

All of these features make the Nokia X6 an extremely versatile handset, and despite having been available for nearly a year still offers a viable alternative to many modern mainstream Smartphones.
