One latest feature that allows users to interact through GPS systems is the Point of interest. This allows users to tag information about a certain location/point on the GPS map. This can be done for many other things such as best hospital, lakes, shopping malls, clubs, getaways, scenic locations etc. You name it and tag it. Other people, those who are new in town, can use this information to check out the happening points in a city. Hence the name, points of interest. * First of all, check the accuracy of the GPS navigator. Normally, a satellite based GPS is accurate to within 4-5 meters of the entered location.

* Next thing – check how many points of interest are displayed on the screen. Is there any other additional information about the location displayed on the screen? Is the information correct?

* Design and ergonomics of the GPS navigator should be well suited to the application. A system that is to be used in a vehicle should be well built.
